About DB7

Established in 1986 by the immensely talented and meticulous David Berrios, DB7 Installations (DB7) provides superior window treatment installations with a unique focus on precision coupled with artistry.

A second generation installer, David has over three decades of experience under his belt — even the most complex installations are a welcome challenge.

DB7 specializes in all window treatment measurements and installations including motorized and manual shades, drapes and sheers, curved tracks and rods, cornices, and side and sill channels. DB7 also provides expert custom solutions with wall upholstery and tapestry.

The DB7 company philosophy stems from David’s passionate and firm belief that a window treatment sets the tone for the entire room. This perfectionist approach is passed along to our installers during their apprenticeship and intense training with DB7. Every installation is completed with only the utmost respect for beauty and precision — even 1/8th of an inch matters to us! The result? An impeccable and stunning installation.

DB7 partners with only the finest fabricators in the USA. DB7’s work can be seen at New York City Hall’s Blue Room and in the homes of celebrities, sport figures, and fashion designers.

In 2016, David led the way for DB7 to expand into the commercial world. Our work can now be seen in high-end boutique and major chain hotels across the East Coast.

“It is with much pleasure that I write to commend your installer, David Berrios. He has done a superb job… after taking over beginning on the 7th floor. He is most knowledgeable and professional in all his work. We are very grateful that he was able to do the install and correct some of the mistakes on previous floor. My wife and I have worked as independent contractors… for over 20 years and have been through many renovations including drapery installations. I must say that in all my experiences, David ranks as one of the best.” — Project Manager, The Churchill Hotel in D.C*
